Sphere is hosting a series of webinars to share good practice and technical guidance on humanitarian standards in the COVID-19 response. This fifth event will focus on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on people on the move within the South American region. Providing high quality humanitarian assistance in the framework of displacement – whether caused by violence, disasters, climate change… – is becoming increasingly difficult in light of the current pandemic. During the webinar, local communities and first responders will share their learning and expertise with other humanitarian actors facing the same challenges.

The event will be delivered in Spanish, English and Portuguese. We strive to make this webinar fully accessible by providing simultaneous interpretation and live captions.
