About Francis K Horton III
I am an experienced trainer with strong leadership and relationship-building skills. I am driven to seek creative solutions to alleviate both emergency and chronic needs. I am motivated to equip others to be instrumental in meeting these needs in effective and efficient ways. My project and training experience has taken me to many countries in on-site capacities as well as in capacity building roles. I have performed a variety of roles in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Myanmar, Thailand, China, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Singapore. My responsibilities in these places included implementation of disaster response initiatives, disaster management, design of development projects, consultation on relief and development projects, and training in disaster response and management, community development, strategy and Sphere.
