About Mamdouh Tello
Mamdouh TELLO is a certified Sphere, Camp Management and Disaster Management trainer and Co-Founder of POINT Organization for capacity development and community empowerment.
He is based in Canada. Mamdouh has more than 12 years of experience in the MENA zone, UK and Canada in positions of increasing responsibility related to the development and management of non‐governmental and profit sectors by working in international humanitarian organizations in the region.
Until now, Mamdouh has trained more than 500 participants about Sphere in Turkey, Syria, the UK, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, and Canada. Additionally, he organized many Sphere ToTs and coached new trainers to become Sphere certified trainers.

The Syria training pack is a set of Arabic-language materials that contain guidance on how best to apply the Sphere standards in response to the country’s conflict. The pack is based on the 2018 training pack update and includes all the latest additions to the Sphere standards, but it also features additional case studies and multimedia content gathered in and around Syria.
The content was developed by experienced Sphere trainers Aya Yagan, Hamza Hamwie, Mohammad Abo Nabout, Rami Rajjoub and Mamdouh Tello.
The Sphere training package (base edition) is available in English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Portuguese.
