About Shahryar Rahmani
I have been working in the humanitarian sector for more than fifteen years. During my career, I mostly focused on the promotion and application of Sphere. I have tried updating my Sphere knowledge by attending humanitarian events such as Regional Humanitarian Partnership Week, TOT courses, Online Courses, and Networking.
In this regard, I have held several Sphere training workshops for experts of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, INGOs who are active in Iran, and local NGOs. Also, I was involved in the technical editing of the Persian translation of the Sphere Handbook 2018 edition.
I have experience in employing Sphere and HSP standards in need assessment, response, and impact assessment. Also, I am interested in working with colleagues in Afghanistan and Tajikistan to promote the Farsi version of the Sphere handbook.
Currently, I am more focused on CHS and Quality & Accountability.
