About Galya Terzieva
• 19 years of experience in the field of disaster preparedness and emergency response management, security policies and technologies, and communications and over 22 years of experience in the NGO sector – humanitarian aid and development cooperation, delivery of IT tools on risk assessment, studies of SOP, multi-hazards, analyses of actors and benchmarking of processes in disaster management
• Sound experience and excellent knowledge in the field of European migration and asylum policies and humanitarian aid. An author of the Slovak national strategy for humanitarian aid abroad, DRR and civil protection.
• Sound experience in DRR – building a national UNDRR platform, networking actors, development researches, methodologies for risk assessment, GIS support tools, simulation models, scenarios, crisis leadership communication, lecturing on DRR and CP mechanisms of the EU.
• Experienced in organisation and delivery of studies, research and assessment gap analyses in the field of migration.
