ICRI has been active in Iran since 1993. It was established by a group of International organizations with the aim of providing coordination among NGOs that worked with refugee communities in Iran.
ICRI’s mandate is to:
– Encourage and support NGOs that work with refugees.
– Disseminate information on the refugee situation.
– Develop the capacities of local NGOs that work with refugees.
– Serve as a facilitation unit for incoming NGOs.
