Caroline is a humanitarian and development specialist in humanitarian principles and standards including Sphere and CHS and a technical expert in the areas of Accountability to Affected Population (AAP) Communications with Communities (CwC), Governance, and Advocacy.
Her professional exploits with the likes of Centre for Humanitarian Analytics- Zimbabwe, European Commission’s European Civil Protection and Humanitarian aid Operations (ECHO- SAIO), Kenya ASAL stakeholder Forum Transparency International—Kenya, Horn Relief, and World Concern exposed her to Accountability to affected populations (AAP), human rights and governance, Protection mainstreaming, Nutrition, Health, Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFIs) and Education in Emergencies (EiE).
Caroline is also a Certified Trainer for both Sphere and CHS with a strong regional focus on East Africa and Southern Africa, Indian Ocean (SAIO).
Caroline organized and participated in the National Launch of the 2018 Portuguese version of the Sphere handbook in Mozambique and co-trained during the roll-out training in all the provinces across Mozambique in 2021.
