Betsegaw Botamo Ture is a senior experienced professional in humanitarian, recovery and long term programmes. He has over fifteen years of work experiences with international NGOs such as Concern Worldwide, Goal International, and World Vision and government organizations such as Ethiopian Agricultural Institute and Dilla University.
During his over fifteen years of employment with various INGOs and government organizations he has expertise in Project Management, Programme Cycle Management, Accountability to affected people, Community Engagement, Community Feedback and Complaints Response Mechanisms, Programme Designing, Proposal Writing, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning, Early Warning Early Action (Anticipatory Action), Partnership, Capacity building on programme quality and accountability (Sphere and CHS), and conducting learning reviews.
With regards to academic qualifications Betsegaw holds MA in Project Management, Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices, MA in Rural Development and BSc Degree in Agriculture. He has international travel experiences in Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Switzerland and Germany.
He has extensive experience in facilitating capacity building trainings in Sphere, Core Humanitarian Standard, accountability to affected people, early warning early action, community feedback and complaints response mechanisms, environmental screening (Nexus Environmental Assessment Tool, NEAT+) and programme cycle management, among others.
