🇬🇧  Sphere is hosting a series of webinars to share good practice and technical guidance on humanitarian standards in the COVID-19 response. This second webinar will explore how community members in South Asia are leading inclusive responses against COVID-19 while making sure that no one is left behind.

This webinar will be delivered in English. We strive to make our events as accessible as we can. This event will have live captions in English as a minimum.

The South Asia regional webinar is the second in series organised by Sphere on Applying humanitarian standards to the global COVID-10 response. The webinar will focus on the leadership and role of persons with disabilities and other at-risk groups in maintaining COVID-19 protocols in humanitarian responses. The inclusion of different at-risk groups throughout the region will be highlighted, while focusing on COVID-19 and links with Sphere and other humanitarian standards.

Objectives of the Webinar:

• Highlight examples of effective inclusion of, and leadership by, at-risk groups in the COVID-19 response in South Asia;
• Emphasise the importance of including at-risk groups in humanitarian response, including while maintaining COVID-19 protocols;
• Link examples of inclusion in COVID-19 responses to Sphere and other humanitarian standards; and
• Elicit positive examples and challenges from webinar participants to promote further learning.
