The training was attended by 21 employees of the Humanitarian Aid Distribution Department and the Program Quality Department of “Caritas Ukraine”.
Learning objectives: To reinforce the practical skills of employees with basic knowledge of the Sphere Manual, to provide an understanding of the practical use of the Manual.
1. Understanding the “Sphere” – consideration of all components of the Sphere Manual 2018. “Excursion” through the Sphere Manual.
2. Using the “Sphere” – application and issues related to the use of the Sphere in practice.
Each participant received the “Sphere” manual in Ukrainian. The training program and active work with the manual helped the participants better understand the feasibility of its practical use in their work. The training was attended by both new employees of the humanitarian aid distribution department and those who have been working in the team for a longer time. For the former, the training was a starting point and helped them better understand the specifics of work in the humanitarian sector. For the latter, it helped them better structure their knowledge and practical experience. The participants also reported that the training helped them get to know each other better, and group tasks and live communication during the training contributed to the exchange of experience and team building. Each participant received a certificate of completion of the three-day “Sphere” training.
