DM Camp 2020 – first Camp, 7-16 October 2020, Banias-Tartous, Syria

Capacity-building for an efficient response during disasters.

To achieve the highest level of preparedness with skilful disaster responders, the #SyrianArabRedCrescent held an advanced training course in its training camp in Banias- Tartous.

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies supported course, participated by 58 volunteers from all SARC’s branches in #Syria, involved several topics concerning disaster management policies, projects planning, development of an action plan, planning and assessment in emergencies, IM, Sphere and reporting.

In addition, the training has simulations and manoeuvres on the practical sessions, as well as experience exchanges.
