Mr. Asomaning Odei-Mensah started his formal education at Nkawkaw Opinamang Primary School in 1964 and completed his elementary education in 1974. He did his O’Level and A’ Level at Breman Asikuma and Tema Secondary Schools in 1980 and 1982 respectively. He has combined B.A. Honours in Spanish and Linguistics from the University of Ghana, and MPhil in Humanitarian Action from the University of Geneva in Switzerland. He also a gradute diploma in Spanish at the University of Havana in Cuba and a Post-gradute International Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance at Fordham University in New York in United States of America.

He has also been trained in Disaster and Humanitarian Management in Switzerland, United States of America, Netherlands, Singapore and Japan. He speaks Twi, English, French and Spanish.

He has twenty years experience in disaster management, sixteen years as a humanitarian manager and four years for managing Fires & Lightning/Disaster Volunteer Groups.
