Through Sphere TOT, trainees delved deeper into understanding Sphere standards, consolidating their existing knowledge while gaining new insights into the principles and best practices of adult education. The program emphasized the importance of effective communication and engagement techniques, introducing participants to the core principles of adult learning and the qualities of an exceptional trainer.
This Sphere TOT placed significant emphasis on developing the trainees’ facilitation and training skills, empowering them to create engaging and impactful learning environments. Trainees were guided through the process of planning and implementing integrated training programs, equipping them with the tools and strategies necessary for successful execution.
Aya Yagan, a certified Sphere Trainer and the Technical Director at NSDation, facilitated the program. The training occurred at the IHH community center in Istanbul, Türkiye, from March 01 to 05, 2024, conducted in Arabic. Fifteen participants (13 male, 2 female) attended.
One of the distinguishing features of Sphere TOT was its focus on enhancing participants’ performance through a combination of short and long training sessions. This approach ensured a comprehensive learning experience, enabling trainees to acquire practical skills and theoretical knowledge that they could apply effectively in their respective roles as trainers and facilitators.
