The has been produced by the International Consortium for Refugees in Iran (ICRI) with cooperation and support from the Norwegian Refugee Council and the Iranian Red Crescent Society.
“This project has been years in the making and has faced many challenges, but we believe the final result will be used as a valuable tool for the Farsi-speaking humanitarian sector,” says Nazanin Kazemi, ICRI country representative.
Kazemi believes the Farsi version of the Sphere Handbook will help the humanitarian community in Iran “make a difference on a national scale”.
There are currently available as freely downloadable PDF files on the Sphere website. Many of them can be ordered in hard copy from their publishers.
English, French, Russian, Spanish and several other translations of the Sphere Handbook also exist in printed format.
