I began working with affected communities five years ago, during the pandemic, and I have a background working with vulnerable people both in the natioanal child protection system and NGO’s.
I joined World Vision Romania in 2022, at the start of the Ukraine Crisis Response. I gained experience in project management, implementation, community engagement, applying Sphere Standards on the field, monitoring, coordination, and learning design for emergency response. My role at World Vision Romania also allowed me to work as a Sphere focal point. I have facilitated Sphere workshops that successfully increased training program participation for WV staff and partners in Romania and Moldova.
As the World Vision Romania representative, I had the privilege of attending the Sphere Focal Point Forum, which was organised by IFRC in Antalya in November 2024. During the forum, I had the opportunity to speak on CHS Alliance panel, where I presented our approach to engaging with the Ukrainian refugees and putting affected individuals at the centre of our work.
Currently I’m working for the Romanian Red Cross in project management.
